SHIPPING POLICY
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Thank you for shopping with Home Alchemy Art.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, prepared, dispatched, tracked, and delivered.
Home Alchemy Art offers physical home décor products, including items that may be handmade, finished by hand, or produced in small batches.
Processing time and carrier delivery time are separate. The estimated total time before you receive an order consists of:
-
the time needed to process and prepare the order; and
-
the carrier’s transit time after dispatch.
1. Shipping Destinations
We currently ship to:
-
Poland;
-
European Union countries;
-
selected international destinations available during checkout.
Available shipping destinations may depend on:
-
the selected product;
-
the delivery address;
-
carrier availability;
-
parcel size and weight;
-
legal or carrier restrictions;
-
the shipping options currently configured for the relevant market.
If your country or region is not available during checkout, please contact us before placing an order.
We cannot guarantee that delivery will be available to every country, territory, island, remote area, or postal code.
2. Order Processing Time
Orders are normally processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–5 business days after payment has been successfully confirmed.
Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays in Poland.
Order processing may include:
-
payment confirmation;
-
picking the ordered products;
-
completing any required finishing work;
-
inspecting the products;
-
securely packaging the order;
-
preparing shipping documents;
-
handing the parcel over to the carrier.
Processing time does not include carrier transit time.
A longer processing period may apply where:
-
a different processing time is clearly stated on the product page;
-
the order contains several products;
-
an item is produced or finished in a small batch;
-
the order is placed during a high-volume period;
-
a public holiday affects our operations;
-
an item requires additional quality control;
-
we need to clarify the delivery address or other order information;
-
a temporary production, supply, material, or technical issue occurs;
-
circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control affect preparation of the order.
If we expect a material delay, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
3. Order Confirmation and Dispatch
After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout.
The order confirmation means that the order has been received. Dispatch occurs only after the order has been processed, prepared, and handed over to the delivery provider.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will send a shipping confirmation email.
Where tracking is available, the shipping confirmation will include:
-
a tracking number;
-
a tracking link; or
-
other information that allows you to monitor the shipment.
Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see the confirmation email.
4. Estimated Delivery Times
Estimated carrier transit times after dispatch are:
-
Poland: 1–3 business days;
-
European Union: 3–7 business days;
-
selected international destinations: approximately 7–14 business days, depending on the destination.
These estimates begin when the parcel is handed over to the carrier.
The order processing period of 1–5 business days must be added to the estimated carrier transit time.
Unless expressly identified as guaranteed, all delivery times are estimates.
Delivery may take longer because of:
-
carrier or postal disruption;
-
increased seasonal parcel volumes;
-
public holidays;
-
customs procedures;
-
local delivery conditions;
-
severe weather;
-
strikes;
-
transport interruptions;
-
remote delivery locations;
-
incomplete or incorrect address information;
-
the recipient’s failure to accept or collect the parcel;
-
circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this Policy limits any statutory rights where an order is not delivered within the agreed time or within the time required by applicable law.
If your order is materially delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate the shipment and provide the assistance or remedy required under applicable law.
5. Shipping Methods
The shipping methods available for your order will be displayed during checkout.
Available options may depend on:
-
the delivery country;
-
the postal code;
-
the products ordered;
-
the parcel’s weight and dimensions;
-
carrier availability;
-
the current shipping configuration of the store.
We may use:
-
postal operators;
-
courier companies;
-
parcel locker networks;
-
collection points;
-
other professional delivery providers.
A particular carrier is not guaranteed unless that carrier is expressly identified as part of the shipping method selected during checkout.
6. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated and displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.
The amount may depend on:
-
destination country;
-
delivery address;
-
selected shipping method;
-
parcel size and weight;
-
carrier rates;
-
the value of the order;
-
any promotional shipping conditions available at the time of purchase.
All shipping charges payable to us will be shown before you place the order.
We will not add an optional shipping charge after the order has been submitted unless:
-
you request a change to the order or delivery method;
-
an additional charge results from incorrect information provided by you;
-
reshipment is requested after an unsuccessful delivery attributable to you;
-
you expressly agree to the additional charge.
7. Free Shipping and Promotional Delivery Offers
From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping.
Such offers may be subject to conditions including:
-
a minimum order value;
-
selected products or collections;
-
specific delivery countries;
-
selected shipping methods;
-
a limited promotional period.
The applicable conditions will be displayed with the offer or during checkout.
Unless stated otherwise, a free-shipping offer applies only to the least expensive eligible standard delivery method.
8. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and International Charges
Orders dispatched from Poland to destinations within the European Union are generally not subject to import customs duties.
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to:
-
customs duties;
-
import VAT or sales tax;
-
customs clearance charges;
-
brokerage fees;
-
carrier handling fees;
-
other charges imposed by the destination country.
Unless checkout clearly states that duties and taxes are included, these charges are not included in the product price or shipping charge paid to us.
The recipient is responsible for:
-
paying applicable import charges not collected during checkout;
-
providing information reasonably required for customs clearance;
-
complying with lawful import requirements in the destination country.
Customs authorities or delivery providers may contact the recipient directly.
Customs procedures may delay delivery.
We do not control customs decisions, inspections, processing times, or charges imposed by public authorities. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights relating to fulfilment and delivery of the order.
If a parcel is returned because the recipient did not provide required customs information or did not pay applicable import charges, the rules concerning returned and unclaimed parcels set out below may apply.
9. Order Tracking
Where tracking is available, tracking information will be provided after dispatch.
Tracking information may not appear immediately. The carrier may require time to:
-
scan the parcel;
-
register the shipment in its system;
-
transfer the parcel between facilities;
-
transfer international delivery to a local carrier.
International shipments may be assigned an additional local tracking number after entering the destination country.
A temporary absence of tracking updates does not necessarily mean that the parcel has been lost.
Please allow a reasonable period for the carrier’s tracking system to update.
10. Delivery Address
You are responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and current delivery address during checkout.
The delivery information should include, where applicable:
-
recipient’s full name;
-
street name;
-
building number;
-
apartment or unit number;
-
postal code;
-
city;
-
country;
-
telephone number;
-
any information reasonably required by the selected carrier.
Please review the address carefully before submitting the order.
If you notice an error after placing the order, contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to correct the address where the parcel has not yet been dispatched, but we cannot guarantee that a change will be possible after processing or dispatch has begun.
We are not responsible for a delay or unsuccessful delivery caused exclusively by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or misleading delivery information provided by the customer.
This does not limit our responsibility for:
-
errors made by us;
-
errors made by a delivery provider selected or offered by us;
-
other matters for which we remain responsible under applicable law.
11. Changing the Delivery Address
An address change requested after an order has been placed may not be possible if:
-
the shipping label has already been created;
-
the parcel has entered the carrier’s network;
-
the carrier does not permit redirection;
-
the requested destination is outside the original delivery area;
-
the change would result in a different shipping charge or customs arrangement.
Where a carrier permits redirection, additional charges may apply.
We will inform you of any additional charge before requesting payment.
12. Delivery Attempts and Collection Points
Depending on the selected delivery service, the carrier may:
-
deliver to the address provided;
-
make more than one delivery attempt;
-
leave instructions for arranging redelivery;
-
deliver the parcel to a neighbour where permitted;
-
redirect the parcel to a collection point;
-
place the parcel in a parcel locker;
-
hold it for collection for a limited period.
You are responsible for monitoring available tracking information and taking reasonable steps to receive or collect the parcel.
Please collect the parcel before the carrier’s collection period expires.
13. Failed Delivery and Unclaimed Parcels
A parcel may be returned to us where:
-
the delivery address is incorrect or incomplete;
-
delivery attempts are unsuccessful;
-
the recipient refuses delivery;
-
the parcel is not collected within the carrier’s storage period;
-
the carrier cannot contact the recipient;
-
required customs information is not provided;
-
applicable import charges are not paid;
-
another customer-related delivery problem prevents completion of delivery.
If a parcel is returned to us, we will contact you where reasonably possible.
You may request that the order be sent again.
Where unsuccessful delivery was caused by circumstances attributable to the customer, we may require payment of the reasonable cost of reshipping.
If the failed delivery was caused by:
-
an error made by us;
-
an incorrect shipping label prepared by us;
-
a carrier selected or offered by us;
-
another matter for which we remain legally responsible,
we will provide an appropriate remedy without charging the customer additional shipping costs.
Failure to collect or refusal of a parcel does not always constitute a clear statement of withdrawal from the contract.
If you wish to withdraw from the purchase, please use the Request a return or cancellation function available in the store footer or contact us directly.
Any statutory withdrawal rights remain governed by our Refund, Return & Withdrawal Policy and applicable consumer law.
14. Lost Parcels
If tracking indicates that a parcel may be lost or has stopped moving for an unusually long time, please contact us.
We will investigate the shipment with the carrier.
The investigation may require:
-
your order number;
-
confirmation of the delivery address;
-
confirmation that the parcel has not been received;
-
information about attempted delivery;
-
information about any communication from the carrier.
The carrier may require a reasonable period to trace the parcel.
A carrier investigation will not be used to unreasonably delay a remedy to which you are entitled.
Where a parcel handled by a carrier selected or offered by us is confirmed as lost, or where it has not been delivered within the agreed or legally required period, we will provide the appropriate remedy.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
-
sending a replacement;
-
arranging another delivery;
-
cancelling the affected order;
-
issuing a refund.
The customer is not required to pursue the carrier directly where we remain legally responsible for the shipment.
15. Significantly Delayed Parcels
If an order is not delivered within the agreed delivery period, please contact us.
Where required by applicable law, you may give us an additional reasonable period to complete delivery.
If we do not deliver within that additional period, or where an additional period is not legally required because timely delivery was essential, you may be entitled to terminate the contract and receive a refund.
Nothing in this section limits any rights concerning delayed delivery available under applicable consumer law.
16. Damaged Parcels or Products
If your parcel or product arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us investigate transport damage efficiently, we recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery.
This is a recommendation only. It is not a legal deadline and does not limit any statutory consumer rights.
Please provide, where reasonably possible:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the damage;
-
clear photographs of the outer packaging;
-
clear photographs of the internal protective packaging;
-
clear photographs of the damaged product;
-
a photograph of the shipping label;
-
any relevant information provided by the carrier.
Please keep the product and packaging until we confirm that they are no longer required.
The carrier may request evidence as part of its investigation.
Where the damage occurred before delivery, we will provide the remedy required under applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
sending a missing component;
-
price reduction;
-
termination of the contract and a refund.
The customer will not be required to pursue the carrier directly where we remain legally responsible for the shipment.
Further information is available in our Refund, Return & Withdrawal Policy.
17. Missing or Incorrect Products
If your order is missing a product, contains the wrong product, or differs from the products stated in your order confirmation, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Please provide:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the issue;
-
photographs of the products received;
-
photographs of the parcel and packing materials where relevant.
We will investigate and provide the appropriate remedy, which may include:
-
sending the missing or correct product;
-
arranging return of an incorrect product at our expense;
-
issuing a price reduction;
-
issuing a refund where required.
18. Delivery and Passing of Risk
For consumer orders, the risk of accidental loss or damage generally remains with us until the goods are physically received by:
-
the customer; or
-
a third party designated by the customer, other than the carrier.
Handing the parcel to a carrier selected or offered by us does not by itself transfer the risk to the consumer.
If the customer independently appoints a carrier that was not offered by us, risk may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights concerning delivery, damage, loss, or conformity of the goods.
19. Multiple and Partial Shipments
Where an order contains more than one product, we may dispatch the products:
-
together in one parcel;
-
separately in more than one parcel.
An order may be divided where:
-
products are stored in different locations;
-
one product requires a longer processing period;
-
separate packaging provides better protection;
-
parcel size or carrier restrictions make separate shipping necessary.
If an order is divided into several shipments:
-
no additional shipping charge will be imposed unless agreed in advance;
-
separate tracking information may be provided;
-
parcels may arrive on different dates.
If one part of the order is delayed, the remaining products may still be dispatched.
20. Refused Deliveries
If you refuse a parcel because it is visibly damaged, please contact us promptly and explain the reason for refusal.
If you refuse delivery because you wish to withdraw from the purchase, please also submit a clear withdrawal statement through:
-
the Request a return or cancellation link;
-
email;
-
post;
-
another clear communication method.
Refusal of delivery alone may not provide us with sufficient information to identify the order or determine whether you are exercising a legal right of withdrawal.
21. Returns After Delivery
Returns after delivery are governed by our Refund, Return & Withdrawal Policy.
For a standard change-of-mind return under the statutory right of withdrawal:
-
the customer is responsible for the direct cost of sending the goods back;
-
the return must be made within the applicable deadline;
-
the goods should be securely packaged.
If a return is required because a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, we will bear the necessary return or collection costs where required by applicable law.
22. Customer Support
If you have a concern about delivery, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute where reasonably possible.
We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve the issue.
This request does not limit your right to:
-
contact your bank or payment provider;
-
exercise a statutory right of withdrawal;
-
submit a consumer complaint;
-
use any other legal remedy available to you.
23. Changes to This Shipping Policy
We may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes to:
-
processing procedures;
-
shipping destinations;
-
delivery providers;
-
delivery estimates;
-
customs arrangements;
-
applicable laws;
-
the products we offer;
-
our business operations.
An updated Policy will apply to future orders from the date it is published.
The shipping conditions applicable to an existing order are generally those in effect when the order was placed, unless:
-
a change is required by law;
-
the customer expressly agrees to the change;
-
the change benefits the customer without reducing existing rights.
The “Last updated” date will be revised whenever this Policy is changed.
