Refund policy
REFUND, RETURN & WITHDRAWAL POLICY
Last updated: June 19, 2026
Thank you for shopping with Home Alchemy Art.
This Refund, Return & Withdrawal Policy explains your rights and the procedures for cancelling orders, withdrawing from a purchase, returning products, requesting refunds, and reporting damaged, defective, incorrect, or non-conforming goods.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to purchases made by consumers through the Home Alchemy Art online store.
The products currently offered by Home Alchemy Art are non-personalized physical goods.
Different rules may apply to purchases made for business or professional purposes.
Right of Withdrawal for EU Consumers
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days without providing a reason.
For an order containing one product, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically receive the product.
If multiple products from one order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the final product from that order.
You may notify us of your decision to withdraw before the goods have been delivered.
Electronic Withdrawal, Return, and Cancellation Function
You may submit an electronic withdrawal, return, or cancellation request using the link:
Request a return or cancellation
The link is available in the footer of our online store and provides access to your customer account and order history.
You may be asked to confirm information including:
-
your email address;
-
your name;
-
your order number or order reference;
-
the product concerned;
-
whether you are requesting cancellation or return;
-
confirmation that you wish to withdraw from the purchase.
After submitting the electronic request, you will receive an automatic acknowledgment by email.
The acknowledgment confirms that your request has been received. It does not limit or change the legal effectiveness of a valid exercise of the right of withdrawal.
Other Ways to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
You may also notify us of your decision to withdraw by sending a clear statement by email or post.
You do not need to provide a reason.
Your statement should include enough information to identify you and the relevant order, preferably:
-
your name;
-
your email address;
-
your order number;
-
the product concerned;
-
a clear statement that you are withdrawing from the contract.
Please send your statement to:
P.P.H.U. Magdalena Romanowska
Niesięcin 52D
95-050 Konstantynów Łódzki
Poland
Email: magdalena.romanowska.poczta@gmail.com
Phone: +48 505 208 891
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to submit your withdrawal statement before the 14-day period expires.
Cancellation Before Fulfilment or Dispatch
You may submit a cancellation request before an order has been fulfilled or dispatched by using the electronic cancellation function or by contacting us.
We will process the request as soon as reasonably possible.
If the order has already entered fulfilment or has been dispatched, immediate cancellation may no longer be technically possible. This does not remove any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to the order.
If a dispatched order cannot be stopped, we will provide appropriate return instructions.
Returning the Goods
After notifying us of your decision to withdraw, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which you notified us of your withdrawal.
Return the goods to:
P.P.H.U. Magdalena Romanowska
Niesięcin 52D
95-050 Konstantynów Łódzki
Poland
Please include information that allows us to identify the return, such as:
-
your name;
-
your order number;
-
your email address;
-
a copy of the order confirmation or another proof of purchase.
A paper receipt is not required if the purchase can be demonstrated by other reasonable evidence.
Please package the product carefully and securely to protect it during return transport.
We recommend using a shipping service that provides proof of dispatch or tracking and retaining the shipping receipt until the return has been completed.
Cost of Returning Goods
For a return made because you have changed your mind and exercised the statutory right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us.
We do not routinely provide prepaid return labels for change-of-mind returns.
If a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, we will bear the necessary return or collection costs where required by applicable law.
Condition of Returned Goods
You may inspect and handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning, in the same way that you would reasonably inspect it in a physical store.
You are not required to return the product completely unopened or unused merely to exercise the right of withdrawal.
However, you may be responsible for any diminished value resulting from handling or use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product.
Examples of handling that may reduce the value of a product include:
-
prolonged or regular use;
-
staining, scratching, chipping, or other avoidable damage;
-
exposing the product to substances or conditions that alter its appearance or function;
-
returning the product without adequate protective packaging;
-
removing components or parts supplied with the product.
Any deduction for diminished value will be assessed reasonably and individually.
Refunds Following Withdrawal
If you validly exercise your right of withdrawal, we will reimburse the payments received from you for the returned products.
Where applicable, the reimbursement will also include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us for the original order.
If you selected a more expensive delivery method than our least expensive standard option, we are not required to reimburse the additional delivery cost.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
For returns of physical goods, we may withhold reimbursement until:
-
we receive the returned goods; or
-
you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless:
-
you expressly agree to another method; and
-
the alternative method does not result in additional fees for you.
After we initiate the refund, the time required for the funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.
Partial Returns
If your order contains multiple products, you may withdraw from the purchase of one or more individual products without returning the entire order.
Where only part of an order is returned, the original delivery charge may not be refundable if the same delivery charge would have applied to the products that you keep.
Any refund of delivery charges will be calculated in accordance with applicable law.
Products Excluded From Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply in circumstances specifically excluded by applicable consumer law.
We will not treat a product as excluded merely because it was made or prepared after the order was placed.
Products that are made to order but are not made to the customer’s individual specifications remain subject to the statutory right of withdrawal unless a specific legal exception applies.
If we begin offering a product that is legally excluded from the right of withdrawal, the relevant exception will be clearly communicated before purchase.
Damaged, Defective, Incorrect, or Non-Conforming Goods
The statutory right of withdrawal is separate from your rights where a product is:
-
damaged;
-
defective;
-
incorrect;
-
incomplete;
-
materially different from its description;
-
otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
If you receive such a product, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
To help us investigate transport damage efficiently, we recommend contacting us within 7 days of delivery.
This is a recommendation only. It is not a legal deadline and does not limit your statutory consumer rights.
Please provide, where reasonably possible:
-
your order number;
-
a description of the problem;
-
photographs showing the product and the issue;
-
photographs of the packaging if the product was damaged during delivery;
-
any other information reasonably necessary to assess the complaint.
Please keep the product and its packaging until we confirm that they are no longer required for the investigation.
Statutory Conformity Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits your statutory rights where goods are defective or not in conformity with the contract.
Consumers in the European Union generally benefit from statutory protection for a lack of conformity that becomes apparent within at least two years after delivery, subject to applicable national law.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the available remedy may include:
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
price reduction;
-
termination of the contract and a refund.
Repair or replacement will be provided without charge where required by law, including the necessary costs of postage, transport, labour, and materials.
A price reduction or termination of the contract may be available in circumstances provided by applicable law, including where repair or replacement is impossible, has not been completed properly, or would cause significant inconvenience.
These rights do not cover problems caused exclusively by:
-
normal wear and tear;
-
misuse;
-
improper care or storage;
-
accidental damage occurring after delivery;
-
unauthorized alteration;
-
failure to follow reasonable care or use instructions.
This exclusion does not apply where the problem resulted from a defect, inadequate instructions, unsuitable packaging, or another issue for which we remain legally responsible.
Remedies for Damaged or Non-Conforming Goods
Where a complaint is justified, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law.
Depending on the circumstances, this may include:
-
repair;
-
replacement;
-
sending a missing item or component;
-
price reduction;
-
termination of the contract and a full or partial refund.
We will cover the necessary cost of the appropriate remedy where required by law.
The customer will not be required to pursue the delivery carrier directly where we remain responsible for the shipment.
Exchanges
We do not currently offer direct exchanges as a separate process.
If you wish to replace a correctly supplied product with a different design, size, or product, you may:
-
exercise your right of withdrawal and return the original product in accordance with this Policy; and
-
place a new order for the preferred product.
This does not affect your right to replacement where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
Refused and Unclaimed Parcels
Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not always provide us with enough information to identify a valid withdrawal request.
Where possible, please submit a withdrawal or cancellation statement using the electronic function or contact us directly.
If a parcel is returned because:
-
the address provided by the customer was incorrect or incomplete;
-
the customer did not collect it;
-
the customer refused delivery without notifying us;
-
delivery failed for another reason attributable to the customer,
we may deduct or request payment of reasonable additional costs permitted by law, including the cost of reshipment.
This does not affect any statutory right of withdrawal or other mandatory consumer right.
Fraudulent or Abusive Requests
We may investigate requests where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, manipulation, substitution of products, deliberate damage, or misuse of the return process.
Nothing in this section allows us to refuse a valid statutory withdrawal or justified complaint without a lawful reason.
Model Withdrawal Form
You may use the following form to notify us of your decision to withdraw, although its use is not mandatory.
